Happy Birthday Mom

I made this cake for my Moms birthday, she loves to garden and saw my flowers on my twilight cake and loved them so what better than to make a flower cake?

Better late than never!

Surprise 50th!

This cake was a surprise 50th birthday cake. He works for the Port Hope Waterworks (which is why all the water themed things) I bought special silver glaze for the knobs to give it a nice finished look

Family Pride

This cake was requested for a family dinner for the holiday season, it is their family shield. Lots of fun to make!

This cake was made for a Birthday with 3 requirements. He loved soccer and beer and his job was in orthotics. To be tied together I decided to make it a 3 tier cake.

This cake was for a baby shower to welcome home the new baby girl!

Getting into the hockey spirit

This cake was made for a Birthday surprise for a Twilight fan. Each book is represnted in a fondant figure.

The Riverbend

This cake was made for a house warming/end of summer party in cottage country. The stars of the cake are the dogs swimming along side which were residents of the new house.

 This cake was made for the St. Marks church as a silent auction item, all proceeds going to the upcoming renovation of the church.

I made this for the Port Hope Fall Fair as an entry. This years theme was "Corn is King" so I thought what better than a nice plate of corn on the cob!

I made this cake as a surprise to the birthday girl. They own 5 very cute bulldogs that were very welcoming at the door when I was delivering the cake.

Body is made of cake and head is made of Rice Krispy treats, this one was SO much fun to make!

This is a cake I made for a local business that is an arts camp for kids. They teach Art, Music and Drama during the summer.

For their last week they wanted to surprise the kids with a tastey cake at the end of the day!

This is a cake that I made for a Hello Kitty fan as a surprise! 

Life is like a box of chocolates

I made this cake for Valentines Day, for a change of pase from the traditional box of chocolates.

Design on lid is icing sugar dusted on, box lid and bottom are both made of cake. Roses, tissue and box are fondant.
